With May 10 2009 _Dark_ introduces their new clan homepage.
The new dark look was designed by radarfox, responsible for the forum modifications and the content management is VegasKill.Any feedback is welcomed, don't hesitate to tell us your oppinion and ideas!

Banner, graphic, logo: I'm not an html expert, but I thought the screenshots are clearly enough to make it understandable as much as possible...

Advice:
Is it possible that the 1st picture (Dark logo - EDIT UT3 logo with Dark Clan below it...) could be a separate image?
It seems it's linked with the rest of the site.
If it would be an own picture, I could remove it by myself just for me.

@Nightmare: You can block the heading picture for your browser. The header is the link to the main site tough, so decide by yourself if you don't need that link.

If you use FFox, get the adblock estension link (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/1865). Adblock blocks advertisings of all kind and you can select further content to block. Add "http://www.ut3darkclan.com/img/head.jpg" to the blacklist content and you'll get a clear sight.

However, there are 2 problems.
1. It's for the main site, not for the forum.
2. The image will not be shown but the space is empty.

Adblock is a bit more powerful than this. Look in the advanced options, there is far more you can block than just plain images. I'm sure you'll find a way. Gl with that. And I keep the header, because Radarfox has done a really good job there.

on the "new post" icons you have on the forum index... there is a black surrounding on them which i dont think should be there...

zooming in on photoshop and removing the black edging or setting the background colour the same as the rest would be helpful :)

It was removed once, but ppl complained so the black border will stay.

Last night, 25 of april 2010, the site was down for some time because our host moved to a data center in Cologne, Germany.
Everything worked well, so there was no need to restore a database backup with the latest forum entries.
Our server is supposed to have more performance now, but there was no problem about that up to now. Compliments to our host! Some Austrian high cost hosts could learn a lot from German standards!

Teamchatproxy is a mod that appearently leads server to send wrong nicks along with the match results to gamespy. There are lots of teamchatproxies in the stats, if you take a look. On the dark members list 1 less.

The server was lagging and all players begun to warp around. It's no playing like that, so I told u that I change to jolt.

There is a flood of registrations & forum spammers from China since a few weeks. Captcha & simple registration questions are not enough to keep them away.

The most common Chinese ip adresses are blocked now from our homepage and the forum, it seems like the only solution for now to get rid of the forum spammers.

Over 99.9% of these visitors are not interested in UT3 anyway. Sorry for the rest.

Yeah, 1.360798 Chinese are definitely interested in UT3, msn011.gif ...& UT4 will come only in the case that the Chinese company Tencent approves it, they own ~50% of Epic Games.
There were over 1400 forum account registrations from China in the last few hours. Seems like the blocked IPs don't cover the whole range of Chinese spammer IPs. Registrations are currently disabled until these spammers can be kept out in a more efficent way.

Poor Chinese for them to register.

No offense, but this map doesn't make sense. It has  no teamplay and it's long to go to meet an enemy. There are 2 options - big map with good balance that allows capture the flag with teammate(taxi,etc). Or a small map that won't get you bored running from base to base. Further more, original sunny feelgooding is at least original and fun. You just copied the tower and pasted two islands-not interesting. Just my opinion.
P.$ I incorrectly expressed about "hating". I can't hate the whole clan for this :)

If i were you i would "hate" the owners of the servers that actually upload those maps, and the ones who made DeineLtan create such a map in first place (aka shoeboxers, arena'ers, spammers, whatever..)

Are you kidding? Everyone votes for this map, this map is up to 24\7 on jolt, when I enter vCTF server, this map is there. Ppl even have no idea how to jump with spacebar anymore.

You know, it's even worse. Lately there are like 3-4 persons who are cheating on jolt and they don't do a thing about it. Like this Joe_Merci for example, everyone knows he's using radar and I busted him many times, but the admins don't do anything about it. -.-
UT3 is... well let's say a ''dead'' game if you're gonna compare to 2007/2008 etc.. so people gonna use cheats now. And yeah, this generation has no teamplay at all. All egos for them selves going for the highest kills. Don't give no taxi, no cover. And yes, spam maps like everytime. Went to TL. ArenaJolt goes to Shoebox. Shoebox going to FeelGood then to this Anarchyhalls, then people can vote for Arena again it's just the same thing over and over again. Than for once it's going to be Sandstorm... and than they all leave, because they don't know how to play on that map! ZERO knowledge of the vehicles, what are they doing? Most of them don't even bother to take the avril, because they stupid. They just stand in that stupid tower with their sniper (and the most of them can't even aim for sh*t). And if they take a vehicle they just ruined it lol. So yeah... I really hope Dark VCTF server going to be good. I mean, let's all vote for Containment!!! It's a good map lol. Anyways, just felt like typing this.

Massive msg. I agree with everything above, although I don't care about cheaters with radar or speedhack. Only aimboters annoy much but I didn't see them long ago. And more- in most cases, you can not be compeletely sure about somebody's cheating.
Maybe we could gather on jolt together at evening and play 1-2 matches on normal maps? This game is dead, but hell this is the best shooter I ever played. New battlefields and other trash can't compete with ut, they are too stupid =p
