if you click on the top of each column, the players are sorted by that criteria, for instance if you click on "kill:death", players will be sorted by how good their kill:death ratio is.
Makes it easier to compare ;)

Yes, also I had trouble to update the stats for our homepage.
I got no results for darkredfox, meaning just zeros for all queries. As I tried to look up the enemydown site I saw the same error... Gamespy seems to have trouble with 2.0 stats.
...Dfb had listed correct stats near the player names on their players list, but the detailed stats were old stats with even fewer kills than I got for our members 2 weeks ago.  wasted2

So I skip updating the stats for now. Why can't the Epic guys just offer such a tool by themselves??
With stats divided by game modes. They were able to introduce achievements...

I updated the stats qury script:
-stats for the new Dark members
-removed faulty code since patch2.0 and no more errors as on enemydown anymore
-reduced the data to show elo, rank, #Games, kills, deaths, k:d Ratio
(removed efficiency, suicides and some more... this is not because this data is not relevant or me being the suicide #1 - you will see ^^)
-no more "more stats" as a popup

I think Epic changes something with their rank calculator, cuz ALL of us went down with their ELO score and went up with rank. I'm 2573??? wtf, i remember i was 800 or something like that before my school vacation, and after i played a lot during this vacation i'm 2573?

Some pplz crash down the ranks in few dayz and back up again - sometimes. Dunnot understand but however: Stats are useless besides a roughly clue 4 the skillz. vctf players cant have a good elo.

thats the rank how elo works:

First: warfare players - only all players who play much warfare have the best elos. the first 100 are all warfare guys

second: vctf players. elo is about 2500-2900 ( bloody had an elo over 3000 cause he often plays warfare)

third ctf, dm, tdm,.... player.. elo between 1900 and 2500

the rest with an elo under 1900 are fake accounts. old account that noone use or noobs.

its calculating by the gamemods you play... not how good you are in ONE gamemode.

and yes ranking is useless. i know hundrets of players who are 600 elopoints behind me but much better than me. and i also know hundrets of players with an higher elo who are worse than me.

I think Splitter described the situation pretty accurately. When it comes to stats the only thing I look up is the weapons K:D ration. You can get a better picture about your enemy from that.

My K:D ratio is 1 approximately. Am i so bad?  Crazysmile1  I just don't like to play with n00bs :((( When i see, that the server is full of nubz i just quit :)

The live-global-stats are ready to be implemented, but its all still work in progress: Its taking a while to gather the data from gamespy, but with some sort of caching system it should load without longer delays.

Mods with weapon exchanges (thor gun, custom instagib etc) count as kills and modify the elo. Moreover we don't use to be custom gaming players, we are a vCTF clan.
Stats don't speek the pure truth, yes, but they indicate some general infos about players. Finally you all like to have some competition, so try to reach the top, even if its worthless.  ^-^

Hehe, even if ranking is worthless, its nice to see some developements. I raise up till 1500 and I didn't play rly often Warfare (most times annoying slaughtering without real skills (not without real skillers ::)). So my KDR show my crux of the matter: I die too often! xxxlaugh.gif

One reason of worthlessness (nice word!) of rankings: How can a stupid counter estimate the worth of a player or the worth of his actions? If a player slow the enemy defense and allow the scoring for the flag capper, but dying fast - it decrease. Healing vehicles - nothing. But otherwise its the bullshit of healing powernodes, which brings WF-Players in the first ranks...

As Vegas says: we love to see blingblings on our jacket, even if  we know, they're useless. :D

Yes, it's true. I've seen many players with kill/death ratio above 3, but with ELO just around 2200-2500, cause they don't play warfare and/or DM.
And in Ru-zone it's even more funny)) Some players (don't wanna to name them) in VCTF do nothing for team. They are single and don't help anyone, never link the tank on Kargo, never link DW and/or nemezis on Necro, don't support flagcarrier on Susp etc. I hate such players. In my previous team i was a supporter. I've linked the tank, helped flagcarrier with bender, took down DW and nemezis on Necro etc. I was on last places in Clanwars, but without me the victory was impossible and match against your clan shows it in best way )))

I've coded a bit on the stats script.
The members site of the Dark homepage will display advanced results in grafical form if you click on the links in the new last column. There is a split screen to allow you to compare the members stats.  smiley_xA

Til now its just a simple innerhtml request to a pie chart, but there will be more content.

Hello! Say me, why? For me there are more than deaths Murders, and in rating I am below 7000 places! And at other vice versa, deaths anymore than, murders, and they are higher than me. Why?

You mean you have a higher kill /death ratio than others and are still on a lower rank?

Elo is a bit weird for UT3, since you gain in ranks also for warfare and vCTF activities, not only for killing opponents. Moreover you won't get much ELO from killing newbees, but loose lots if they kill you (since they won't have much ELO to give, but much to take).

Ranking and Elo is a component in the UT3 stats that is definitely useless. The kill /death ratio you mentioned, and also the weapon usage stats are much more useful.

Update:
The stats are no longer updated at any site call, but only by request. In the members list there are icons near all members for this purpose. The 'update all' doesn't work properly however, the operation times out after 3-4 queries. Will have to check that...

The charts sites are cached with the stats in the members table. Therefore it is possible to run java scripts instantly and display the contents quickly.

Sprees sequence got fixed. Also an error with the avril kills was fixed (kills and deaths showed up as the same value).

@Vegas the stats look awesome, really, this is the best clan site whatsoever. Everytime I think there is nothing more to improve you manage to surprise us again&again.

Looks like the Gamespy stats on our hp do not work anymore (=WGH's script on  beyondunreal (http://ut3stats.beyondunreal.com/search)).

The dfb ut3 stats (http://www.dfbgaming.com/ut3_stats/index.php) work, so it has probably to do with the mixture of programming languages that are unable to handle a 'response with an unexpected content type'.

On this occasion I would like to thank WGH for this script and advice that the ut3 stats script was released as open source project (https://code.google.com/p/gamespy-sakestorage/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fsrc).

If you have a webspace with php, curl and soap enabled (check via <?PHP phpinfo (); ?>), you should be able to get the stats from Gamespy.

Glad if there is a feedback for content you wish to see in the statistics or if there is something to improve.

The only thing, than may be can improve it is to save your chosen graphs you want to show also if you change player. For example, i chose kills and deaths graphs for me, then clicked on Wojci to see what graphs he has on kill and death, but when i click him i have ELO and played games chosen.  ;D
