Problem with a hammerjump on sandstorm.

I was trying to hammer from below avriltower on sandstorm to deemer spawn, ive done it like 2 times and seen other people doing it. But now last time i tryed, i did like 100 jumps and failed everytime. Maybe when ive done it, it was with another gravity or something? What do i do wrong?

Got full power with hammer, jump 1 time, peak of jump i hammer with like 45 degrees angle.

For example i got no problem with the jump from outside spawnroom on suspense to avril bridge, thats also a hard and long jump. But this one on sand i missed a 100times, i guess i do something wrong.. Help

Its all about the timing and where you do it and in which angle.^^ I'm able to do it, maybe I can show you how it works xD

hold ur hammer so down as possible .....and activate ur boots so late as possible........i havent done this hj in a real game because u have to do a perfect hj and that dont work every time^^.......

and i dont do a perfect hj every time like our "god" splitter..-_-

like sev said, it's only possible with a really delayed boot jump and in the right angle so you land to the ledge. Just did it myself.

You can do it without hoverboard as well, if you do it right.
